How might we express martial Arts to the public in the context of a social event, through performance while celebrating diversity?

We want to hold a festival that celebrates the diversity of all the martial arts. It would be a fun, friendly environment that showcases different martial arts that are celebrated through the use of colour, tournaments and exhibitions.
The audience for this would be primarily martial art practitioners of all levels and skills, while still being for the public to experience and enjoy.
This is a mock-up of the uniform that you would wear at the festival. The idea of the blank uniform is that it would get covered in paint while you participate in the events. Leading to everyone starting with a white uniform, to everyone having a unique, multi-coloured uniform as they spend more time in the festival, getting paint on themselves. The image on the right is an example of that.
By using posters it would involve the public more for our festival by promoting it through colourful, eye catching poster designs that would be advertised in the street and other public places.
If we were to develop this more, we would look at screen-printing the posters, and look other ways to present them. We would think about sustainability more, the design process and other concepts for this.
This would all go towards a functioning festival that would express diversity through martial arts, colour and performances.
